Separation & Divorce Coach
for Women

Practical, private support for the decisions, conversations and realities of separation and divorce.

BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER SEPARATION

You don’t need to be separated to work with a divorce coach

In fact, some of the most valuable work I do happens before a separation has taken place.

You might know your relationship is no longer working but have no idea what separation would actually look like. You might be quietly considering your options. Or perhaps the decision has already been made, by you or your partner, and suddenly there are decisions to make about children, money, living arrangements, communication and what happens next.

This is where having the right support before and during separation can make a real difference.

Instead of approaching each issue in isolation, we look at the bigger picture: your circumstances, your priorities, your family, your finances, your concerns, your professional support and the practical decisions in front of you.

Less Stress. Less Cost. Less Conflict.

My role is to help you see the whole picture.

As a Separation Strategist™, I help you work out what needs your attention, what doesn't, what questions need answering and which professionals you may need around you. We look ahead wherever possible, so you can prepare rather than react to whatever happens next.

A big part of that is helping you navigate separation with as little stress, cost and conflict as possible. That can mean preparing properly before obtaining professional advice, thinking strategically about difficult conversations, managing communication, choosing which issues genuinely need attention, preparing for mediation or legal appointments, and avoiding unnecessary escalation.

A lawyer advises you about the law. A financial adviser or accountant provides specialist financial advice. A psychologist or counsellor provides therapeutic support. My role sits alongside those professionals, helping you look across the practical realities of your separation, use your professional team effectively and make considered decisions about what happens next.

I am legally trained and was admitted as a solicitor in NSW and England & Wales, but I no longer practise law and do not provide legal advice.

You might be looking for a separation or divorce coach because…

You're seriously considering separation and want to understand what you should think about before making any major decisions.

Perhaps the decision has already been made, by you or your partner, and you're worried about your children, your finances, your home and what happens next.

You may already have a family lawyer, but want someone in your corner helping you think through the practical decisions, difficult conversations and day-to-day realities outside your legal appointments.

Or perhaps one of your biggest concerns is how quickly separation can become stressful, expensive and high conflict, and you want to prepare well and avoid unnecessary escalation wherever possible.

Practical experience. Professional understanding. Compassionate support.

I'm Kate Boyden, Separation Strategist™ and Divorce Coach for Women.

I've been working with women navigating relationship breakdown, separation and divorce for more than a decade, and have personally supported over 700 women during that time.

Before this work, I was a lawyer, admitted in both Australia and England and Wales. I no longer practise law in either jurisdiction or provide legal advice.

My work today draws on years of further training and experience across coaching, relationships, domestic and family violence, trauma-informed practice, and various holistic health and wellbeing modalities, as well as my own lived experience of separation, divorce, and solo parenting.

All of that informs how I work, but at its heart, this is very personal work.

Every woman, relationship and family is different. I take the time to understand what's happening in yours, and what you need from me.
